The Department of Oral and Cranio-Maxillofacial Surgery treats about 1,600 people as inpatients and 16,000 as outpatients per year.

Not every single treatment needs to be carried out under inpatient conditions, but can possibly be performed under inpatient circumstances. It is our major goal to provide comprehensive information regarding any question on your disease pattern and we gladly take care of you during your stay in our hospital.

We attach special importance on your care as a patient and we hold the specialised care in oncology particularly dear. When it comes to regular surveys, our nursing staff is highly acclaimed.

Certification of the existing quality management system was run on 17th December 2001 for the first time. Since then, the Department of Oral and Cranio-Maxillofacial Surgery has been certified pursuant to DIN EN ISO 9001. Additionally, the clinic has been part of the Erlangen head and neck tumour centre since 2011. The centre has been certified pursuant to the regulations of the German Cancer Society.
